About this event
Winter Owl Evenings is part of the programme at the National Centre for Birds of Prey in Duncombe Park, Helmsley.
Wrap up warm and join us for a magical “must-do” evening event with the world’s most famous nocturnal birds!
What to expect:
- Saturday evenings from 17 October 2026 to 30 January 2027, 7pm to around 9.45pm
- Starts with a mulled wine or hot, spiced apple juice
- Meet the aviary owls with the centre lit only by lanterns and fairy lights, then tiny owls flying in Xmas Tree Cottage
- A two-course meal in the Owl House Cafe
- Large owls flying free in the woodland flying ground, lit only by torchlight
- "The evenings are suitable for children aged 8 and over."
- "Please wear warm, sensible clothes, and bring a torch!!"
- "THE OWL EVENINGS ARE TICKETED ONLY; TICKETS ARE £45 EACH."
