An absolutely wonderful way to spend some quality time as a family. The owner and their family were really friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and fun. The animals were well loved, well cared for and their needs were paramount - just as it should be. This is a really tranquil, low key way of being ‘in nature’. You are invited into the owner’s world and it is glorious! With the owner, you walk the alpacas around the fields, with a distant view of the sea - there are no ‘frills’ but you don’t need any. The alpacas lead you where they want to go and they stop when they want to stop! You are holding the reins but the owner is vigilant and explains the alpaca behaviour to you, ensuring that the animals are happy. You need to wear really sensible footwear and preferably have your legs covered - they are ‘proper’ farm fields with long grass and uneven surfaces. After the walk finished we were greeted by some super friendly goats, a goose and a cat - who were very relaxed in our presence and just wanted to say “hello”. You are able to buy some hand made alpaca souvenirs, but there is no ‘hard sell’. The whole experience is just wonderfully gentle and felt incredibly good for the soul. Cannot recommend it more highly - it was just lovely.

If you are looking for a commercialized, overly polished tourist trap, this isn’t it—and that is precisely what makes it so special. ​We had an absolute blast doing the alpaca walk! We spent over an hour walking these wonderful animals while learning so much about them, their personalities, and the surrounding nature. ​What stood out the most was the sheer passion of the owners and their kids. You can tell immediately that this sanctuary exists purely out of love for the animals. They are doing incredible work rescuing and caring for numerous animals, and their dedication shines through every single detail. ​It’s an wonderfully down-to-earth, hands-on, and educational experience centered entirely around animal welfare and authentic connections. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and thoroughly entertained. ​Highly, highly recommend a visit if you’re anywhere near Bude! 🦙✨

We have the best time ever and fantastic experience to walk alpaca with my husband and 4yrs old with the owner Nadia, Ro-ro and Benji. Nadia has been so informative about the booking time, location and direction. She briefed us on details how should we handle these alpacas and not walked behind them to avoid being kicked. We had Locky the black male alpaca and loved dandelion flower a lot. We walked them through the field and let's them eat. It was a sunny day, beautiful scenery afar and just right heat in the morning. Benji and Ro-ro was accompanied my little one and showed him bugs, plants,mole hills etc, they were friendly kids. After about an hour walk, we were introduced some Guernsey Golden goats and holding them. They were so playful and only 6 weeks old, their fur was so soft cuddly and lovely. We purchased a pair of alpaca shocks and alpaca figure toy in their little shop to end the activities. Thank you for all your lovely time and information. This was one-of-a-kind of family and children activities. We glad that we did it due to few days of miserable weather did put us off a bit. Thank you. Highly recommended

We had the most amazing time today, both people and the animals were so lovely. I would highly recommend this experience I can’t speak more highly about how Knowledgeable the owner was and her children. She kept everyone safe and made sure everyone had a great time and was included. My son had the best time and we would definitely go back. She told us all about the animals and how they are kept. Overall we had the most amazing time and I would recommend this experience to everyone who visits.

We had a fantastic time visiting Nadia’s farm for a hen do with a group of friends. Nadia was incredibly helpful from the beginning, taking the time to understand our preferences and ideas, and putting together a plan that included all the fun activities, food, and thoughtful details. We walked alpacas, took baby goats for a stroll, fed a baby lamb, had a farm tour and learned about the various rescue animals on the farm – it was really interesting to hear their stories. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea that Nadia had prepared for us, with a great view of the alpacas! Thank you, Nadia, for such a memorable and well-organised experience. We had such a great time, would highly recommend it to anyone who loves animals or is looking for something a bit different for a special occasion!
