The great thing about this garden are it's small carefully considered garden spaces, which are the size of a possible home garden. If you find a design and planting to your taste you can obtain a plan to create it at home. Add to this the great restaurant with wholesome sensibly priced food and drink and friendly staff. A great nursery with reasonable pricing and knowledgeable staff, then set it all in a fabulous location, perfect .

Took my brother here to see the home of his gardening hero, the late Geoff Hamilton. As it was late in the summer (August 31st) many of the flowering plants were past their best. However the Michealmas Daisies and Verbenas put on a fine display along with the late flowering roses. The gardens are well laid out and maintained and we enjoyed the near 4 hours we spent walking around them. My brother has been a gardener for nearly 40 years and it made his day when he was able to unexpectedly meet and have his photo taken with Geoff's son Nick Hamilton in the gift shop. A lucky coincidence. The staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. I would thoroughly recommend the full English breakfast which we had before our tour of the gardens. A great way to set up the day.

Lovely gardens as compact examples of over 30 types, also veg gardens with illuminating talks scheduled daily, ask on entry. A handy cafe for tasty snacks or lunch pleasantly served to your table. Geoff Hamilton is still there in spirit, represented by family.

Beautiful little gardens set within a large garden. Lots of benches to sit on throughout the gardens. Lovely cafe resaonably priced with tasty, fresh cooked food. Ice creams also available at the paying kiosk. Toilets are at the edge of the car park just before the entrance. Been here twice now and doesnt dissapoint.

One of the most amazing gardens i have visited. Every section is beautifully presented and cared for, all plants are healthy and happy. It was a real pleasure to visit the garden and share the peace and happiness it transpires. We also has a delicious breakfast at the Helenium Tea Room, freshly cooked and very tasty. The staff were extremely welcoming at the tea room and the garden, no flaws whatsoever. A perfect day! Thank you for sharing your garden with us.
