The actual pool area here is brilliant. There is a fantastic mix of slides, a toddler section, a diving area, and a good range of depths up to 1.8m. The water temperature was also spot on - not too hot or cold. ​However, the changing facilities completely ruined the experience. The area is disgusting. Every single cubicle was dirty, the smell was awful, nappies everywhere and there is even visible dirt on the ceiling. On top of that, the showers are completely open with zero privacy, so you can't have a proper shower before heading home. Great pools, but management seriously needs to sort out the hygiene.

Positives - Had a fun splash. Not too crowded even on a busy day. Plenty of lifeguards on duty. Quick waiting times for the queue. Staff quick to respond via website ‘get in touch’ pool nice and warm. Negatives - Changing rooms smelt like urine. Wave pool was never turned on during our season despite it being a busy weekend session. Slides were out of action for the majority of the time we were there. Female toilet area was pooling with water. Not enough bins, there were wristbands and rubbish all over the changing rooms.

Had a great time with my 7 and 4 year old at Calypso Cove. On the slightly more expensive side but waters warm, lots of options for slides for both ages and they loved the waves. A decent number of larger changing pods and clean. Good number of large lockers too. Didn't feel like there were many showers though The new lay out is good and will definitely go back. Didn't get food so can't comment on the prices or quality. Plenty of parking but finding the place from the town centre was slightly confusing, even with Google Maps.

My son loves it here with all the slides . You now check in down stairs for the pool. They have done the place up nicely and the price reflects on this as well . To say it was the Easter holiday it wasn't too busy . Which helped my son more with been artistic . It is very loud so please bare this in mine too . For the over load .

What a great place to enjoy with the kids! Or even yourself as a big kid 😂 Me and my son had such a fun time here, the food was great, there was plenty to keep us busy and the cost was super affordable We will definitely be returning in the near future for some more family fun
