Sand is incredibly soft! Careful when driving a small car, follow the trodden path! We got stuck deep the sand but amazing lifeguards shovelled us out. So so grateful we were able to get out, they saved the day and our holidays!! Thank you 🩵

Great beach. Nice to take the van down on to the sand with you. Toilet and showers available. There's also a wee coffee shop and usually an ice cream van too.

Benone Beach! 🌊 That’s a gem on the north coast of Northern Ireland, right? It’s one of those long, golden stretches that feels like it goes on forever—about 7 miles if I remember correctly. You get the dramatic backdrop of Binevenagh mountain on one side and the Atlantic rolling in on the other. 🏖️ It’s also one of the few beaches where you can actually drive your car right onto the sand, which feels kind of surreal. And then there’s all the extras: a caravan park, golf course, and even a little outdoor heated pool nearby at Benone Tourist Complex. Don't forget its a blue flag beach.

One of the best beaches in Northern Ireland, 6 miles long, clean sand and you can literally park on the beach ( be careful of the soft sand and don't beach yourself ) Views are amazing in every direction, it's picture postcard everywhere you look, there was even an ice cream van on the beach and a surf shack nearby
