DO NOT park on the beach unless you know it well. Mostly soft sand. Our car got stuck and only thanks to some very kind and helpful locals managed to get towed out. The next day we saw another car stuck. There’s a free car park right next to the beach. Apart from that it is a beautiful beach with gorgeous views of Mussenden Temple on the cliff top. It was almost empty when we were there in June.

Drive in beach is not suitable for non 4x4 Cars. Lots of signs stating prior to driving on due to soft sand.

Really pretty and quaint place. Beach is lovely to walk along. Cliffs are amazing. Temple cafe very friendly and serves amazing food
