I found this place while working and they're lovely people who run it. I promised I'd bring the family on my day off and today I did. We started off with lunch. The food was absolutely delicious! A teeny bit pricey but well worth it! We then headed outside to see the array of beautiful birds they have there and the little one got to play in the park at the end. It surprised me how long we actually spent there. I'd recommend it as a day out, ticket entry includes a year round pass with free entry and under 5's are free.

Brilliant day out for all. Tickets very reasonable also you pay for your ticket on the day and it lasts for a year. So you can go back as often as you want just remember your ticket. For a birthday treat, buy 1 Ticket for up to six people, and get to feed the flamingoes. Ask at reception? To book ahead.

Wonderful place, nice people, lots of different types of birds and some other animals... Some birds kept in cages: mainly parrots and rescue birds, some others are walking arounds. There is option that you can feed them - it's great for the children.

If I'm honest,I didn't expect this to be so enjoyable but it was a good morning out. A really good set up and very entertaining birds 🙂. A big bonus is you get repeat visits with the ticket! One tip,buy extra seeds for the birds up the hill 👍

Peaceful sanctuary to walk around (even in rainy weather). Birds are interested in the food bags and my toddler loved walking around and chatting back at them. Emus were running around and overall just a great day out to break up the normal routine. Staff were lovely, even at busy lunchtime. Shop is well stocked. Toilets clean. Play area is a bonus for burning off wee one’s energy before a nice nap on the way home. Annual pass to return is such a nice gesture!
