A wonderful day out, the museum brings back alot of memories from childhood, people are easy to talk to and interact with, history should always be preserved and its much better to learn about the past by looking at it than by sitting in a classroom. The museum is very disability friendly I had no problems on my mobilty scooter, there are drop kerbs, large doors, a lift, disability parking, and even with the small houses there was just one small step so I left my scooter outside and walked in but ramps can be provided, there is a disability route map if needed but I went everywhere even down by the canal.

I loved visiting this museum & can not wait to go back. The mine was under maintenance so did not get try that. We missed the bakery some how too, a better map would be good. I appreciate at Hobbs you can ask for the fish & chips to be fried in vegetable oil. The boat ride was an extra charge but so worth it. Loved seeing the limestone tunnels & all the history involved. I would 100% recommend this as a day out. The classic fun fair was so much fun (extra charge for rides), ALL of the people were so friendly. Seeing the Peaky Blinders spots for filming was pretty cool too!

Wonderful museum village! The "live actors" told amazing stories of real life folk that lived and worked in the early 1900s Black Country. The exhibits were all amazing, authentic and displayed well. The museum is accessible to all. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day out. The customer service was excellent. They called us a couple of days in advance of our visit to tell us about minor changes to the services provided (dog friendly Thursday cancellation due to the heatwave), and offered us the chance to change the day of our booked tickets. The only constructive criticism I would offer is that the cafe ran out of jacket potatoes and had very few sandwich choices left when we visited at 12:45.

We had a wonderful day out here using our Tesco vouchers. The weather was perfect, not to hot, but warm enough to explore the different buildings and exhibits in a t-shirt. The car parking is plentiful though there is an additional charge for this, you have to buy a token that allows you to exit the car park. We didn't get to try the cafe out but there are plenty of period buildings offering refreshments as you explore. We went for some chips cooked in beef dripping followed by ice cream cones. Not overly healthy, but they certainly tasted amazing. The walk around all the site at a leisurely pace takes about 3 - 4 hours as there are so many things to see. We were lucky enough to see some Goslings swimming in line behind their parents in the docks that have been used as a set for Peaky blinders. A great day out for adults and children. The actors particularly like to involve children in what they are doing.

Had a really good visit the The Black Country Museum loads to see as your taken back in time. There's ample parking be aware you will need to get a token as you leave to be able to get out of the site this will cost you £3.95. There's toilets in a few locations around the site plus a cafe and gift shop, with a traditional fish and chip shop, sweet shop and bakery. There is also a fair ground where you can purchase ride tokens, we had to grab a ride on the ghost train and wow that brought some memories back. There's a couple of pubs that are worth a visit aswell. As most go for the fish and chips that are cooked in beef dripping you can see see by the big queue that forms when the chippy is open. And yesthat lingering memorable taste is still there 15 minutes after you've eaten them.lots of shops to investigate with a good bus ride on the old double decker that worth a go. Currently there are no trams which is unfortunate. So it doesn't come cheap to visit and you better off booking in advance online. When your on check out there's a section to apply voucher codes so check that out to see if there are any current promos. We found that we could use Tesco vouchers which we had £42 so we applied £40 so the cost was £22 on my debit card so check out if you have any forgotten tesco points that you can use. All in all its not cheap but a really good day out. Staff are amazing some dressed in period clothes just adds to the atmosphere. We would definitely return as there's a possibility that the trams could be running again. Big thankyou to the lovely staff that really make the living museum what it is.
