Absolutely one of the best beaches I've been to. The Pier is not the most dated and nor is the arcade, but this is what makes the area unique. The beach is clean and safe to bring your kids to walk around. It's dog friendly and everyone one is friendly and happy to help with directions or what is worth visiting in the area. The Pier is a bit rusty and does not stay open all day. This is due to Health and Safety concerns. So make sure to plan your visit if you want to watch the sunrise and sunset from the Pier.

Not bad beach. Had a wonderful day thanks to the weather. Water was clean and clear. Pebbles hard to walk on but with shoes it was ok. Closer to waterside was little bit sandy. We parked at the coach car park so was a 10-15 min walk straight down a footpath which had a big lump of shit however on our way back it wasn't there. Thankfully. People are friendly, pier is bit rusty quiet you can enjoy peace. Some nice fresh donuts and churroa sold but bit pricy. 6 donuts for £7 or 4 for £6. Overall nice day out

Love it down here, on a crisp spring morning, there's nothing better than the crunch and creak of pebbles beneath your feet as you stroll along the seafront and admire the marvellous vista.
