Lovely beach with great food, ice cream, and slush puppies style drinks. Just a 5 min walk from beach to the shops. Great atmosphere and vibe and also not very crowded at same time. Stoney beach which im starting to prefer as sand not getting EVERYWHERE 🙂, beautiful sand as the tide goes out & nice smooth gradient no drop offs. Would recommend a visit & child friendly...... I have already booked in again at the fantastic furzfield camp sites to go back 😎

Lovely pebble beach, exposing sand when the tide goes out. There is a small car park, toilets, cafe serving hot food, shop selling beach items and ice creams and an amusement arcade. We went on a hot sunny day in May, there were a few other people but not too crowded.

Easy parking and reasonably priced for all day. Beach is pebble mainly but the sea was clear and it wasn't busy at all and we were there during May half term.

A somewhat hidden location. Parking nearby and no real facilities other than a small amusement arcade. The beach access at this point is a single pathway that opens out onto a pebble beach with an amazing vista from Selsey to Bognor. The beach provides opportunity for some long walks. We were lucky to be there on a rare beautiful sunny day in February.

I go here all the time. It's my favourite beach. It's never too busy. The spit changes so often it's quite astounding. Absolutely beautiful place. I recommend visiting at low tide, pools form and the spit is on full view. If you look directly out to sea at low tide from the yacht club you will see a wreck of a mulberry pontoon that never made it to France before D day.
