Looks fantastic - when I walk past it on the way to uni, it looks quite unused, much like the rest of the cycle lanes in bournemouth.

Great place to train hard and enjoy cycling! The area itself has always been quiet every time I’ve visited the Velodrome. You may find some occasional students and youths who might loiter the area although it has never been an issue for myself. As for the Velodrome, it was maintained in good condition, with no debris that might affecting any training or casual cycling. Obviously with any Velodrome, just be careful when practicing and slopes can be quite high and potential dangerous for newcomers. I had heard that it is quite difficult to find bookings for any sessions that might occur at the Velodrome, although I know there’s a Facebook group-chat dedicated to organising its availability for the public. Huge car park nearby too so you won’t find any trouble in finding a space to park close by! 🚴‍♂️

Excellent facility hidden away. It's one of only 2 outdoor 250m tracks in the country and while there are a few bumps and not many surrounding facilities but as a track it's brilliant
