Great pool and lovely staff. Community run. The perfect time to swim, only a max of 20 people allowed for lane swimming when we went on a Sunday morning. There is a fast side and a "gentle" side. Very reasonable price, £6.20 per adult.

I honestly had no idea Bovey had a pool, let alone a heated one! It was so warm, and on a cloudy and rainy day too! Highly recommend this volunteer-run swimming pool.

Amazing pool. Fantastic team on site. Facilities are clean and tidy. The booking online system is easy to use. The pool was warm, even when it’s cold out and raining. Will definitely be booking in again.

Really nice outdoor swimming pool on the doorstep of your holiday destination! Reasonably priced, my mum and I came here on Wednesday (04/06/25) and we both enjoyed our swim 🏊🏻‍♀️ Both female lifeguards were lovely! We really enjoyed our swim🏊🏻‍♀️😎 I loved the mosaic art that's around the pool too! 🧜🏻‍♀️

What an absolute beauty of an outdoor pool! Heated to a tropical 28° even though the air temperature was around 3° in early January - what bliss! Such a jolly welcome to the pool by the staff/volunteers. Traditional 'basket' facilities for your belongings, impeccably clean and heated male and female changing rooms with good showers and toilets. But the star of the show is the pool. We booked in advance via the website for a lane swim - one half of the 25m pool is given over to the slow lane and the other half divided into medium and fast lanes. Not overcrowded, well organised, and lifeguards were attentive and seemed to know many of the regulars by name. Bovey should be rightly proud of this gem of a pool - if you're in the area this is a lido not to miss ☺️
