It’s the perfect combination of beach and nature, ideal for long walks, dog walking, or just soaking in the views. The beach is more relaxed and quieter than the busier Bournemouth areas, making it a fantastic spot to unwind. Facilities are good for families, with nearby cafés, toilets, and lifeguards in summer. I also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere staff at kiosks were helpful and welcoming. Even on busier days, the beach retains a lovely charm, and there’s plenty of space to enjoy the sand and sea. Whether you’re after a scenic stroll, a peaceful day by the water, or a family outing, Branksome Chine Beach delivers beautifully.

The beach has plenty of facilities including toilets, a café/restaurant, beach shop and seasonal RNLI lifeguards. Easy beach access, nearby parking and a lovely promenade make it perfect for families and visitors alike.

​Branksome Chine is truly a 5-star gem on the Dorset coast and the perfect spot for families. ​The kids had an absolutely brilliant time. The beach is kept clean and safe, which made for worry-free fun. They enjoyed swimming in the sea & spent hours playing happily on the soft sand. The water quality was excellent, making their dip in the sea a real highlight. The facilities here are fantastic and make a long beach day completely stress-free. Clean and easily accessible, which is a must when visiting with children. ​ There's a great cafe (Branksome Beach Restaurant) and smaller kiosks offering refreshments, ice creams & snacks right on the promenade, which is very convenient. ​ During the season, the presence of RNLI Lifeguards adds a vital layer of safety for swimmers. ​ There is a convenient pay-and-display car park (Branksome Chine Car Park) nearby, although it can get busy in peak season. ​The path down the 'chine' (gorge) itself is beautiful, and the access to the beach is straightforward. ​If you're looking for a stunning, safe and well-equipped beach for a family day of swimming, sandcastles, and relaxation, Branksome Chine Beach is highly recommended. We can't wait to visit again!
