Bang average, did the Revenants room with the lads, had a good time with them but can't justify the price, Rob the worker seemed bored/annoyed every time he had to give us a clue? Other worker was fantastic, engaging and exciting to talk to.. Don't think we will be back

Great fun! The game was exciting and really well organised. The puzzles were challenging but enjoyable, and the whole experience kept us engaged from start to finish. Highly recommend for a fun time with friends or family!

We recently tackled Alcatraz as a family of four — two adults, a 14-year-old, and a 12-year-old — and it was hands down the best escape room experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped inside Alcatraz, the immersion was exceptional. The set design, atmosphere, and storyline made us genuinely feel like we were plotting a daring prison break. The puzzles were clever and well-layered, striking the perfect balance between challenge and accessibility. Every member of our family was able to contribute meaningfully — the adults appreciated the logic and sequencing elements, while the kids were fully engaged with the more hands-on and observational challenges. It was collaborative without being overwhelming, which is exactly what you want in a family experience. A huge part of what made the experience so memorable was our game master, Rob. He was absolutely incredible — welcoming, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what he does. His delivery of the briefing set the tone perfectly, and his timing with hints was spot-on: never too much, never too little. He elevated the entire experience and made us feel like the stars of our own prison-break movie. The pacing was fantastic, the production value was top-tier, and the sense of accomplishment at the end was unbeatable. We’ve done several escape rooms before, but this one truly stands out. If you’re considering booking Alcatraz, do it. It’s immersive, exciting, family-friendly, and expertly run. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Had a great time at Break Free Preston. We managed to solve all the puzzles and escape with 10 minutes to spare using only 2 of our 5 available additional clues. Big thank you to Ellie G who was very helpful when needed.

Visited with my husband and two teenagers, none of us had ever done an escape room before so didn't have a clue what to expect. We did have to ask for some clues, but once we got in the swing of it and had an idea of how to think we were on our way. We all enjoyed it, so much so we are planning to visit again and try out a different room in the future. If you're looking for a fun way to spend an hour then I would recommend.
