Gone for a swim after Christmas. No flume this time, so played with grandchildren instead. Always good clean changing rooms, plenty of £1 coin-return lockers, friendly staff.

Jilna and Helen are fantastic instructors. I looked forward to their classes each week. Faye and Bethany at the front were very kind and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this Leisure Centre if you’re visiting the area and need a good workout, yoga, or stretch.

We had another fantastic experience in Wales! On our third day, it was raining so we wanted to enjoy some indoor swimming. However, our resort didn't offer exclusive sessions, and we didn't want to compromise our faith values by going in a mixed pool. After searching for a private pool without luck, I reached out to the nearest Bro Ddyfi Leisure Centre and spoke with Faye. She listened to our situation, consulted with her manager, and amazingly offered us a private session for an hour with exclusive use of the entire pool, including the water slide! If you're visiting Mid Wales and need a private swimming session, I highly recommend contacting the leisure centre – Faye and the team are very accommodating. Mahbub Alam

We took our one year old swimming for the first time and the staff were fantastic at making sure we were given space and even got some toys out for him. They really went above and beyond. The family changing rooms were clean and spacious, and the price was reasonable too!

I've been visiting the area for years but have never used the leisure centre until this week as I'm doing some swim training. I didn't have high hopes as the pool is smaller to the one back home and the reviews made me think it may not be very welcoming or a good experience. I called ahead just to find out more info - price etc. and the lady was really helpful. When I turned up the reception team were really welcoming, telling me where to go and how long the public swim session was for that day. The changing rooms are really spacious, loads of lockers and decent showers. The pool itself was better than I had expected and I enjoyed my swim. I returned a few days later for another session and a different lady was on reception and she kindly sorted a float out for me for the pool. They also have a box of goggles to use if you forget yours. There's clearly a great sense of community here too as quite a few other swimmers chatted to me. Definitely recommend!
