Absolutely amazing probably the last of the grand country houses in their original condition. The gardens are been patiently restored to their original designs and planting after years of neglect. Truly amazing well worth a visit. Be sure to take the guided garden walk where the restoration is explained.

We had a magical day here yesterday! The weather was a mixed bag but that didn’t stop us exploring the beautiful gardens! They were well maintained and full of colour and beauty! We watched some folks playing croquet which added a charming atmosphere! There’s lots of places to sit and admire the views. The house was very interesting with the guides giving us some history and ideas of what it was like when it was lived in.

Superb Horticulture, beautiful climbing rose/ vine/ honeysuckle tunnel. Beautiful Topiary, stunning trees. Sunken garden with overlooking Temple and different bridges, walkways with benches dotted around with lovely vistas with Mediterranean style planting. Gorgeous rose garden, borders. Loved the swiss style target lodge too. House is also amazing especially the cooking quarters. Plenty of old gadgets that entertain a curious mind. Loved the Victorian decor and lots of fascinating furniture, statues, art. Cafe, second hand bookshop in the hall and National trust gift shop just after the car park.

Wonderful Stately home and gardens with a delightful tea room in the house. The gardens have a delightful folly and in the warm weather are a delight to walk around. The volunteers are all knowledgeable and approachable. Before you go, be warned that the top floor is currently inaccessible whilst the roof is repaired, with works not due to start until next year

We had a wonderful time at Brodsworth Hall and Gardens—it really was the perfect day out for me and the kids. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and provide such a safe, open space for them to explore. We enjoyed a lovely little picnic for lunch, and it was so magical when Grace met a ‘fairy friend’ in the gardens! The kids also spent a lot of time at the play park, which is brilliant and has a great safety surface, so I could actually relax while they played. We even spotted people playing croquet on the lawn, which was lovely to watch. We finished our visit with some delicious ice creams and a trip to the garden center, where we bought a beautiful plant to bring home as a memory of our day. It’s a fantastic place for a family outing—plenty of fun, fresh air, and smiles all around!
