Surfing session with Scott was fantastic. Managed to get up a few times which was my goal so very happy. Scott was good fun and super supportive for the whole group

As a pair of paddle board newbies we had a great time with Scott this morning on the canal. Super friendly helpful instruction had us up on the boards in no time and cruising along. Look forward to hiring some more boards out and going past the weir another day.

We had a fab experience with Bude Surfing School. Brodie (8) went out with them every day we were there and absolutely loved it. He started with a paddle boarding lesson with Scott and came back on a complete high, having loved every minute of it, including spotting all sorts of wildlife along the canal as they supped down the canal including swan eggs, ducklings, herons and much more. He then surfed for the rest of the week with both Scott and Anna and, once again, it was fantastic. Their patience and encouragement with the children is brilliant. Brodie’s confidence went from strength to strength and by the end of the week Brodie was standing up on the board, which he was so proud of! He had an absolute ball throughout and it was lovely to see his confidence grow so quickly. We even joined in on the final day ourselves and had an equally great time. A genuinely great company run by people who clearly love what they do. Would highly recommend.

Mike and Scott were super friendly and helpful- my surf lesson was cancelled because the waves were flat, so instead they suggested I try paddle boarding, and even let me bring my dog on the board, and a pal for the same price! Mike was really informative and showed us the ropes but also just let us get on with it and mooch up the canal at our own pace which was great. I'll definitely be back whenever I come to Bude!
