Absolutely fantastic place! Wow. Well worth a visit. A brilliant museum and the staff here have a wealth of knowledge. Get stuck in, they are more than happy to discuss Britain’s history with you. The only con: I don’t live close enough to visit here more. Can’t express enough how much I loved this place

This is a scientific ancient farm. Very informative of techniques that were used to build houses in the Stoneage, Saxon and Roman eras. A fantastic place to learn about both the materials and tools used to erect these buildings. The information had been gathered from many archeological sites around Britain and the buildings were constructed in the manner of the Era concerned with the exact replica tools that were used. There are two park areas for the children and the staff , some in costume interact with the adults and children, teaching them skills , games and how to weave braids.Once you enter everything is free except for the Cafe and gift shop items. A lovely day out.

A wonderful day out. Very interesting, and with the Easter activities we had great fun learning about living in the past, from stone age to early saxon home steads. We were taught an ancient Roman game by a legionnaire and learned about spinning and weaving wool.

A lovely place to visit. We really enjoyed the interactive sessions including craft making, games and trying out armour, which are great for children. It was truly a unique day out and I highly recommend.

An incredible place! So interactive, the team were so friendly, informative and engaging. We all loved our visit and would definitely go back again!
