We had the pleasure of visiting today and it was amazing! The gardens are stunning and very serene, the lovely walk is easy because it leads you to the next scenic spot! We enjoyed ourselves and loved having a picnic in the designated area, there is menageries and lovely seating areas to have a good look at the architecture and the views. Overall a beautiful experience, the gardens made up with their warm welcome.

I visited Ashby Gardens and unfortunately came away quite disappointed. First of all, I do want to mention that Linda at the gatehouse was absolutely lovely. She was welcoming, friendly, and gave us some helpful advice on where to walk and what to see, which we really appreciated. However, the garden itself is very poorly organised and doesn’t feel well managed. There’s a lack of structure and not much guidance once you’re inside, which takes away from the overall experience. We also asked about press access, as we were planning to visit and potentially include it in an article about the best places to see in Warwickshire. Linda wasn’t aware of any such policy, which is fair enough, but it meant we ended up paying full price for two tickets. At £13 per person, it really doesn’t feel worth the money—especially considering that children also have to pay, with only those under three getting in for free. That pricing feels quite steep for what’s on offer. I understand that we visited in mid-April, but even taking that into account, there simply wasn’t much to see. The experience didn’t justify the cost at all. Overall, while the staff at the entrance were great, the garden itself was underwhelming, overpriced, and not something I’d recommend. Honestly, it feels like it should be free or much more reasonably priced for what you get.

First visit here and what a beautiful place. Lovely gardens, lots to see. Friendly staff. Saw a hummingbird moth whilst visiting, so that was a bonus. Cafe in site, and space for a picnic if you want to take your own food.
