Visited after lunch as no picnics are allowed in the gardens and the gardens don't open until midday, We had our picnic at Brixworth Country park which is very nearby. The gardens are extremely tidy and well maintained. Plenty of plants in flower at the moment, the roses putting on a fine show and giving of strong fragrance in the sunshine. The interesting array of plants is enhanced by the presence of chickens, ducks and flamingos roaming freely around the grounds. We finished off our visit with a fabulous slice of cherry and almond cake at the cafe. Well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed the beautiful well kept gardens, even though it was a very hot bank Holiday Monday. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Cake at the cafe was amazing. Even purchased some plants from the nursery which were grown on site.

Gardens opened on Valentines Day. Not much in bloom given the wet weather but still lovely to walk around. Very calming and peaceful. Great warming lunch if Honemade Soup in the Stableyard Cafe. Amazing variety if Tulips on sale, stunning colours and very well priced. Will certainly go back for another visit later in the year.
