Stunning dog friendly huge beach amazing swimming all sand highly recommend the water is so clear.

Pebbly beach, dogs got a good swim. Great views across cardigan bay towards New Quay as well as towards Aberystwyth. Short walk down a lane from caravan park where we visited our friends.

What a magnificent place this is, even on a cold, windy and rainy day still looked beautiful 🤩 my doggies absolutely loved it. We spend a whole day here on our recent trip to Wales and I am so grateful that we got to experience the beauty of this place. As you walk up and down the beach you'll see few streams that flow into the sea. These are fresh water ones and great for doggies to have a little drink but also to wash their paws once you're done with your walk. On one side of the beach you'll see beautiful rocks and even some caves within them. We didn't walk in as I got a bit scared but next time I'm hoping I will as I am bringing reinforcements 🤭

Once the tide goes out there is a lovely sandy beach in an arch that joins up with New Quay beach. There are dunes behind and pebbles at the shoreline with rock pools to explore. Great on a sunny day with loads of room for kids to run about and dogs (and owners) to exercise on. Right on the coastal path so nice to walk to but there is only room for about 20 cars in the nearest car park so go off peak or get there early.

Beautiful beach, the walk from here to New Quay is lovely, but wait until the tide is out, otherwise there's a lot of scrambling on rocks to be done, dog friendly too!!
