Worth the visit! Such a beautiful library with thoughtful displays. I spent a couple of hours exploring and learning about the history across different floors. Great rooftop space with seating available. Clean facilities and accessible toilets.

This is a lovely escape from the city hustle and bustle, it's a modern ground floor area with an impressive atrium staircase & skylight. The real magic is in the Picton reading room and the Hornby libray room. There were some interesting antiqe books on display. We did go to the roof and had great views. It's worth visiting if you are nearby - - they just don't make libraries like they used to which is a shame.

Liverpool Central Library is an absolutely stunning architectural building filled with art and history. The Picton Reading Room is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places to read. I worked on my dissertation there, and it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quiet study spaces and inspiring surroundings.

Knowledge is power! One of the best libraries in the country. Picton reading room is a must. Disabled access throughout. It is hard to describe its beauty and purpose in words. Once registered, It is possible to borrow books for one's Kobo e-reader. Run by very friendly and helpful staff. Put it on your itinerary whilst visiting Liverpool. Would highly recommend.

Such a great Library. Cafe toilets. Beautiful architectural sights. Large collections..large digital IT areas. Staff really helpful and friendly..lots of quiet areas and nooks..reccomend a wander around 15 minutes and just see.how beautiful some of the building is..great place and will always return.
