Took my baby swimming here for the first time. The baby pool was the perfect temperature and made us both feel at ease. The facilities were great too

Disappointed, Arrived at 10:30am with the family as was public swimming.. To pay get our stuff on to then be told both children's pools are closed until 12-1pm as there's lessons on so our son who is currently learning to swim and not 💯 confident was forced to go in the big pool - what was absolutely freezing and the aroma of urine was 🤢, faulty showers to understaffed life guards where quite frequently 1 has to watch all 3 pools ⚠️

Holywell Leisure Centre, and its delightful Rosie's Cafe, create a truly welcoming and vibrant community hub. It's far more than just a place to exercise; it's a place to connect, unwind, and feel genuinely supported. The leisure centre itself boasts excellent facilities. The swimming pool is always clean and well-maintained, and the gym is equipped with modern, up-to-date equipment suitable for all fitness levels. The variety of classes offered caters to diverse interests, from invigorating spin sessions to calming yoga flows. Importantly, the staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you achieve your fitness goals. However, the true gem of Holywell Leisure Centre is Rosie's Cafe. It's not just a cafe; it's the heart of the centre. Rosie and her team have created a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. The food is absolutely delicious, offering a range of fresh, homemade options that are both healthy and satisfying. From freshly baked cakes to hearty sandwiches and wholesome meals, there's something to please every palate. What truly sets Rosie's Cafe apart is the sense of community it fosters. It's a place where you can relax after a workout, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of tea. The friendly chatter and welcoming smiles create a truly special atmosphere. Rosie and her team go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Holywell Leisure Centre, coupled with Rosie's Cafe, is a testament to the power of community. It's a place that promotes health, well-being, and genuine connection. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive and uplifting experience.
