Sadly, this was by far the most disappointing ceramic café experience my family and I have had, which is particularly disappointing as this is now my local. I booked online and communicated via email beforehand, but at no point was I made aware that stock was extremely limited. Arriving to find that there were very few desirable or popular items available was incredibly frustrating. Had this been communicated in advance, I would have reconsidered booking or chosen another date. As I was visiting with a very young baby, leaving and returning another day wasn’t really an option, so we had to make do. Unfortunately, this meant paying more for items I wouldn’t have chosen otherwise. The café was clearly very busy, with only one staff member working. While I appreciate staffing challenges happen, the level of support and customer care was noticeably lacking. We often felt like we were inconveniencing the staff when asking for help, which was very different from previous ceramic café experiences where staff were welcoming, helpful, and proactive. I was also disappointed with the help provided with personalising my item. The writing felt rushed and was not completed to the standard I would have expected. I would have much preferred honesty if there wasn’t time or capacity to help, rather than feeling hurried and left unhappy with the final result. Unfortunately, the item also appears to have been damaged during the kiln process, which was another disappointment after what should have been a special keepsake. What made the experience worse was raising my concerns with the manager afterwards and receiving no response. Being ignored after taking the time to provide feedback was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, reflects poorly on the level of customer service. This visit was meant to create a lovely memory with my family, but sadly it left us feeling disappointed. I hope the feedback is taken on board, as with better communication, staffing, and customer care, this could have been a very different experience.

My friend and I went to the Ceramics Cafe in Farnham and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Neither of us had done this before but with a little guidance we are both absolutely delighted with the end results! We enjoyed a nice cup of coffee while we there too. Thank you!

Went for my birthday with my daughter. I had a clear idea of what I wanted to paint. Lots of choices of different things. I chose a portioned plate for my granddaughter and was very pleased with the selection of paints available. It was easy to do and relaxing. So happy with the result.

We came on a work social and had a brilliant time. Very relaxed atmosphere, and just a lovely thing to do on a weekday evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We’re planning our next trip 😊

A fun experience for adults and kids! The shop had a wide range of options, all individually priced. Sessions last two hours, which is a good amount of time to pick an item and decorate. Final slots end early so that the staff can process payment, I found this a little unfair given that the price isn't adjusted to reflect the reduced time. The shop is well presented, however be aware that can be very humid. Paints are well prepared, and there is a wide choice (including stencils and pens). Your collection date is confirmed when paying, ours was a few days later. The colours were a lot darker than expected. Outside the store is a wheelchair ramp, which is great. Though it is a trip hazard to be aware of.
