Called in for lunch before catching our train. Very busy and long queues at the counter - which says something about how popular it is. Despite this the staff were on top of it and our order arrived in good time considering the number of customers. Staff very friendly and very efficient even when under pressure. The food was great and the menu offers a really good selection. We had been before and will definitely go again - really really good.

I booked a 2-hour sculpting session for 3 for my daughter's 16th birthday and we had a brilliant time. We started at the cafe which has a lovely feel, great food selection and lots of space. We moved into the pottery room and were tutored by the lovely Susan. She somehow helped us to hand build some clay models that we were really proud of and we had a great time whilst we were there. Best of all... We can come back and paint them in a few weeks! We would highly recommend the whole experience.

What an amazing place! My daughter wanted us to go to do something together to clebrate her 18th birthday. My husband and I and my daughter and her friend started off by painting some pre-made pottery which we chose from a wide selection we could choose from. We lost ourselves for a couple of hours which was truely lovely. Then we had a lovey afternoon cream tea with amazing sandwiches, cakes served on towering tea plates with a drink of our choice. It all looked and tasted totally amazing from the cafe. We then returned to the pottery area to make a seahorse session. We all loved it and we're looking forwrd to returning in a few weeks to paint our seahorses! Thank you for such a lovely afternoon. The staff were all lovely and accomodating which really made it a special day for not just my daughter but all of us. To finish it off there's a lovely shop with quality things that I could browse for hours in. There was a great selection of cards and I went away with a supply for my nearest and dearest who's clebrtions are throughout the year. Thank you China Blue, a truely memorable day for my daughters 18th celebration!

Absolutely fantastic we took our grandchildren, the staff were friendly and welcoming we all took part in the painting and can wait to see the final results. Food in the cafe was really good and made with quality produce. We will be back soon 😊😊😊😊

Great shop for nice trinkets and lovely glass and China products. The cafe serves great food, with superb portions at good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. They also do pottery painting sessions and the results were great. Parking is good, although it didn't feel like there were anywhere near the number of people in the shop for the cars parked so maybe locals use it for other shopping too...?
