Good location to visit, large grounds and castle to explore. Food and drinks available to purchase on site. Mini bus available free of charge to take people up and down the hill. Visited mid week and there were plenty of people visiting, so weekends must be busy

A lovely property and gardens to visit, beautiful views and very tranquil. Inside the property was interesting as soon as you walk in. The information provided for each room was also helpful and enabled you to look at and appreciate all the artifacts and imagine how people lived and used the property. All the staff were helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We will be back as it would be a great place to bring a book and a picnic and enjoy the scenery.

A very quiet and tranquil place to visit. Lots of history,lots to do. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly with it. Also some great walks around the castle grounds and gardens. Two cafes one in the carpark one in the castle, serving gorgeous ice-cream. Plenty of parking. Worth a visit 👍🏻👍🏻

On a recent trip to Wales 🏴, we visited Chirk Castle and completely fell in love with the place. From the moment you arrive, the castle feels like something out of a storybook — centuries of history, towering stone walls, elegant rooms filled with antique furniture and artwork, and beautifully preserved interiors that transport you back in time. The gardens and surrounding grounds are equally breathtaking, with lush greenery, peaceful walking paths, and stunning countryside views in every direction 🌿. Even with the moody Welsh skies, the entire experience felt magical. A truly beautiful and memorable place that’s absolutely worth visiting.

The castle is very well preserved and looks great. It is like a moving back in time seeing all that rooms packed with gorgeous furniture, paintings, tapestries, weapons and so on. King's bedroom and library very impressive. First Welsh bible very precious, must see exhibit. Gardens! OMG wonderful, full of colours and variety. We spent full day wandering there. Really the place worth to see.
