Explore a stunning Cornish beach with soft golden sands, excellent surfing conditions, rock pools to discover, and lifeguard protection during summer months.

Constantine Bay is a picturesque beach destination located three miles west of Padstow on Cornwall's Atlantic coast. The beach features a sweeping arc of gently shelving pale sands bordered by rocky reefs, making it one of the best surfing beaches in North Cornwall with consistently high-quality waves. Families can enjoy swimming, paddling, and exploring numerous rock pools scattered along the shoreline, all under the supervision of lifeguards from Easter through October. The bay offers activities and attractions suitable for all ages and interests. Young children can safely paddle and build sandcastles on the gentle shelving beach, while older visitors can try surfing or simply relax on the expansive sands. The nearby small cafe provides refreshments, and the location is dog-friendly, welcoming four-legged family members. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate opportunities to spot seabirds including gulls, terns, cormorants, and raptors, as well as occasional marine visitors such as seals and dolphins. Beyond the beach itself, Constantine Bay serves as an excellent base for exploring wider attractions in the area. Visitors can walk the scenic South West Coast Path for dramatic cliff and sea views, explore the nearby 12th-century Church of St Constantine with its historic Norman font and medieval features, or visit the nearby Iron Age cliff castle at Tregudda Gorge. The proximity to charming Padstow and other nearby beaches like Harlyn Bay and Treyarnon Bay makes Constantine Bay an ideal family holiday destination combining beach activities with cultural and natural heritage exploration.

Amazingly beautiful area. Treyaron Constantine and Booby's all join up at very low tides. We were very lucky to experience the low water huge lagoon which appears on Spring tides. Probably the size of 2 football pitches and about 3-4feet deep in places.

Huge wide beach with sand dunes, rocks to climb and an island to explore. One of Cornwalls best surfing beaches which often has big Atlantic rollers... Great views along the coast from either end where there's well trodden paths to Trevose head or Bedruthern steps. Lacks much parking although this is a good thing as it keeps the hordes away! Dog friendly out of season. Well worth a visit
