Fabulous place. Easy to navigate and it's reptile heaven. I loved being so close to the crocodiles. Lots of information on the way round too. Amazing to see so many species in one place. Brilliant couple of hours.
I had a fantastic time here. There were so many different crocodiles, alligators, reptiles, and even mammals to see. I also took part in the adult crocodile keeper experience, which was brilliant. The keepers were extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. I highly recommend booking the keeper experience if you want something hands‑on, educational, and unforgettable.
We took the kids to Crocodiles of the World yesterday, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. If you have children who are fascinated by reptiles, this place is an absolute must-visit. The highlights for our family were definitely the underwater viewing enclosures, which allowed the kids to get eye-to-eye with these incredible creatures safely. It was both thrilling and highly educational. We also made sure to catch the scheduled feeding displays and keeper talks—the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and fantastic at keeping the children captivated with fun facts. Beyond the incredible variety of crocodiles, alligators, and caimans, it was a lovely surprise to see other animals like the meerkats and the binturong. The layout is easy to navigate, the facilities are clean, and there is a great mix of indoor tropical areas and outdoor spaces. It easily kept the kids entertained and engaged for a solid 3 to 4 hours. We highly recommend it to any families looking for a unique, well-run day out. We will definitely be back!
We visited with our 2 boys (8 & 12) for the junior croc keeper experience. Charlie was our guide/expert, he was fantastic; so knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. The kids got to feed and hold a crocodile, hold a snake and see what goes on behind the scenes! This was the fourth time we’d visited over the past few years and it gets better each time. There is now an outdoor play area with plenty of picnic table seating and a reasonably priced pizza kitchen. However, you can take your own food and drink, a huge bonus! And it’s not just crocodiles.. there are other reptiles and mammals too. We loved the meerkat experience! A hidden gem in the gorgeous Cotswolds. We will definitely be back!
Crocodiles of the World is a real hidden gem and well worth a visit if you are anywhere near Oxford. We actually found it by chance while driving home after a day in Oxford and decided to stop in when we saw the sign. As a reptile lover, especially someone who likes tortoises, it turned out to be a great surprise. The highlight is getting to see crocodiles up close. If you have never seen one properly before, it is impressive. But it is not just crocodiles. There are tortoises, snakes, lizards and a good variety of reptiles, so anyone interested in them will feel right at home. There are also a few other animals such as meerkats. The zoo itself is quite compact but well laid out and easy to get around, and it is wheelchair friendly. There are lots of information boards around the park and regular feeding talks during the day, which makes it interesting for both adults and kids. The indoor areas are warm as well, which is nice on a cold day and almost feels like walking through a tropical house. It is a fun place for families and animal lovers alike. Experiences are also available, like the Galapagos tortoise experience, which is definitely worth considering. Overall it is a small but very interesting zoo with a lot to see. If you are passing through Oxford or looking for something a bit different to do, it is absolutely worth stopping by.
