What an amazing afternoon we had at Millets Wildside for my Dad's 80th birthday treat. I booked the Really Wild Encounter for us as you get to meet a few different species of animals during the 45 minute experience. When we arrived we went straight to watch the free flying display which included birds of prey, storks and an owl who swooped over our heads! We then had a mooch around the centre looking at all the other animals that live there. There are lots of endangered or rare species looked after by the amazing team of keepers. Wildside is a separate business to Millets Farm and all their income goes to support the animals so buying an experience really helps! We then went to meet our keeper for the experience which started with the Lemurs. We had a safety talk before entering each enclosure to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the animals. We were asked to wear a mask as Lemurs can pick up human viruses. We fed them sweetcorn and peas! Such little characters. We then moved onto the capybaras who we didn't feed but were allowed to pet. Finally we met the meerkats. My Dad loves meerkats so he was really happy they were included! Again you can't pet them but you get to feed them love mealworms with tweezers! Our keeper was amazing, shared so many interesting facts about all the animals we met so it's also a really educational experience! No negatives from me, everything was perfect, from the team that helped me with my booking and dealt with my queries to everyone we met on the day. I highly recommend a visit and will definitely go back again!

Amazing little animal centre with a really good range of animals for a fairly small place. We also took part in the meerkat feeding with a super knowledgeable keeper who was able to explain a lot about the natural environment and behaviours of the animals and how they try to still encourage these in captivity. Great bird of prey display too. I know they also do capybara, otter and birds of prey experiences. We'll be looking to feed the capybara next!

We went for a Hawk Walk experience, bought for my Dad as a Christmas present. We flew a beautiful Harris Hawk which swooped down from trees along the walk to take bait from our glove. Harry was lovely and verry knowledgeable. Entry to the park was included, and we managed to catch a couple of displays which included eagles, owls, vultures and hawks. We had a great time! Thank you!

Absolutely loved every minute of our visit here yesterday. My husband was booked to meet the meerkats for a one-to-one encounter, and he had a brilliant 30 minutes with Tom and Ginger. The lady who looked after us during the experience was so knowledgeable and full of interesting facts about the meerkats. Could have listened to her all day! The centre it's self is wonderful - lots of beautiful, well cared for animals and their birds are stunning! We watched both of the falconry displays at 12pm and 2pm and found the talks really informative and fun. I'm itching to come back now and do a falconry experience myself. Cannot recommend this place enough. A little gem! Thank you for a brilliant day. :-)

Myself and my boyfriend had a capybara experience booked here and it was so lovely. It was half an hour of learning about the capys as you fed them and massaged them (which they love 🥰) we also spent the morning looking around at the other animals and we managed to see the bird display after our experience. We unfortunately came on a really rainy day but quite a few of the enclosures are under shelter so it’s very handy. We also loved all the owls and the little marmosets. All the staff were so lovely and the lady doing the capybara talk was so welcoming and informative
