Really enjoyed my time at the depot but its unfortunately time to go. Staff there have always been great, and continue to be so, but paying the same rate throughout an "upgrade" that severely affected operating hours and climbing space was a major frustration. I generally enjoyed going during the day when it was quiet, but evenings, in particular Wednesdays and Fridays were just packed to the point that it wasn't enjoyable to be there. Once again, nobody's fault, but it just seemed like the space wasn't anywhere near fit for demand, which theyd tried to accommodate previously by removing the central island, which led to less climbing. Another significant issue is a lack of parking options, with there only being 4 or 5 spaces out front, and street parking costing £4ish for a couple of hours now, it soon adds up if you want to go more than twice a week. It does seem like at the end of the day the structure just doesn't suit the demand, and the price point stopped being competitive with other climbing gyms 2 updates ago. I'm giving them 3/5 for the staff being excellent and generally finding a lot of good company there over the last couple of years, and I'm leaving this here on the odd chance that some of the higher ups can read this and potentially think about better ways of addressing how they price the depot notts compared to their other facilities and factor in the accessibility and capacity of the place.

Really good time here as a first timer at Depot. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with a good variety of climbs for the beginners to the experts.

Went there with my daughter and her friends, I was a bit sceptical about climbing without harness, especially when kids are beginners. The staff was really nice and helpful. Good price. Climbing turned out to be for everyone - little ones, young or older people. Friendly atmosphere. Not too loud inside (what is important for me). Enjoyed time there. Girls were really happy. Thank you

Very cool place. Excellent atmosphere. Nice and friendly staff. Good place for families with a special wall for small children. Diverse types of frames. Small shop with fair prices. We wish we could have spent more time exploring the space before the pandemic. Our son is excited with the idea of regularly go free or supervised indoors climbing inside this amazing place. Finally they’re back and we’re back. The use of masks inside even with social distance maybe is a bit too much. Looking forward to the days we can breath freely. In terms of price, it’s definitely worth buying the 10 pass deal to start.
