Loads of fun to be had. The diggers were as much fun for me as it was for my kids. The indoor soft play area was very tidy. All staff were very helpful and friendly. This place is the perfectly chilled out, which we much prefer.
Diggerland was great fun, we came on a Friday and the park was mostly closed except the digger experiences. The park being closed was great as it was nice and chilled out and the staff even took my two spectators on a quick free go. The instructor was really personable and clear, even creating photo opportunities for us unprompted. The machines are all pretty new and in good condition You should wear boots as the digger experience and its viewing area is through mud.
Expensive day out, good for the kids. Some of the staff were really good expecially the girl on reception. One of the young guys was really only interested in his female coworkers. The machines are very safe to be around and use. A few of the carrack rides you have to pay extra for. Food and drink in the cafe is expensive as you would expect, the ball park was very enjoyed by our youngest.
Today was our first (but not our last) time visiting, we came here to entertain my 9yo lad but ended up being a fabulous day for the 3 of us, I now love diggers and had so much fun in the big ones, my son loves them too and he took to them like a duck in water, lots of fun games too. You do repeat alot of the rides but that was perfect for us and the staff are really nice especially the chat on the safari, you can tell he loves his job. Well done to the owners and staff, especially the young lady on the buried treasure who was very chatty and welcoming.
We had so much fun at Diggerland Devon, always wanted to take my boys when they were younger now the oldest was 16 this week and my youngest child girl was 7 this week also with the 11 year old boy so not so little anymore, I expected it to be less fun but it was more fun! Way past our expectations. Every staff member was friendly and made the experience enjoyable, from the cafe staff, desk staff shop staff and everyone around the park not one person seemed anything less than happy and welcoming. Especially loved the safari ride and the man driving us was just so cheery and full of energy looking for the animals we were so invested in naming the animals and spotting them I had so much fun too usually I try to enjoy the days out for the kids but o have to try to enjoy it as always feel abit disconnected from the activities in hand however Diggerland was so different and had me fully engaged and enjoying myself. The kids had a great time and didn’t want to leave. We left literally at closing and none of the staff seemed annoyed even though we were the last ones and they probably wanted to get home for dinner. Absolutely would go again. Discount was given on the tickets aswell which made it cheaper and we used a carer ticket too which is free. The food in the cafe was very nice even for us when I am vegetarian and very food sensitive due to my adhd. I find it difficult to eat out and I was pleasantly surprised. So happy we finally went. I have zero negatives and only wish we got there abit earlier even though we arrived around 12 ish we didn’t leave until just after 5 when everyone else was also leaving 😬 when I say everyone I mean staff as we stayed till the last minute. Thank you all for making our week in Devon it was the best activity we have done. My eldest son has cerebral palsy also and was abit nervous to try the driving experience and another ride but the staff were very helpful and accommodating
