Doddington Hall and Gardens is a wonderful place to visit, offering a fascinating insight into over 425 years of history. The hall is beautifully preserved, and the gardens are stunning and well maintained. The café is lovely too, with great food and beautiful views overlooking the grounds. A perfect day out for anyone interested in history, nature, and relaxing surroundings.

You can use the cafe, shops and walks without paying to enter the house or the gardens. The latter are however well worth the entry fee. Together they make a great day out

Gardens are very good. Recommend April to mid June for a great display. We had cake at the Cafe (not restaurant) and we're home baked and very tasty. Our English Tea was rather weak. Maybe they should use Yorkshire Tea!. Staff in the main house very friendly. I just didn't get a friendly vibe from Cafe staff. Functional and efficient, no happy faces. If you have a spare couple of hours and decent weather it's well worth a visit. Bonus. Free parking near a greenfield and small lake. Good for a picnic!

Lovely place to spend a few hours. Tasty lunch, huge portions! Lots of beautiful items in the shops and good quality food in the deli/shop. Plenty of free parking and lovely grounds to have a walk.
