I try to make it here at least once or twice a year when we have our annual holidays to Dorset as I love it here so much! The horses are brilliantly cared for, they are beautiful and stunning. As well as all the other nationals they have here at the farm (including rabbits, pigs, sheep and donkeys etc.) I also adopted Adam and received a beautiful adoption pack too! All the staff are kind, well knowledgeable and polite and are always happy to talk to you or answer any questions. There’s a man there (I’m so sorry I can’t remember his name) which tells you about every horse whilst he feeds them, he always talks so passionately and really drives the importance of learning about the history of all the different breeds of heavy horse, that paved they way for us now. You can really tell he loves these horses (as do they all) and this place really is a horse lovers dream! There’s a cafe, gift shop and something for everyone here! I can’t recommend it enough 🐴 Also my deepest condolences on loosing Iona, she was absolutely stunning and will be truly missed! ☹️🤍

Loved this place, the staff were great, learned all about the horses and what they were used for in the past, crops, The travelling life, gypsies etc. Great talks and demonstrations throughout the day, horse and cart rides, tractor rides, lots of other animals, play park, horse shoe throwing, go carts, indoor play area, even a walk through the front line, what it would have been like during the war. Food was great too. Definitely recommend a visit, suitable for all ages.

Really great staff here. Reasonably priced food at the on site cafe. It's a compact site with a fair amount of information boards, friendly and helpful staff and a few key activities spaced out nicely through the day. It's not the best for accessibility and I wouldn't necessarily recommend coming for wheelchair users. I honestly thought the price per ticket was high but when you understand what they do there I think it's worth it.

What an exceptional facility with welcoming members of staff and unique experiences. I heard of this facility by word of mouth and knew I visit was a must. I was warmly welcomed by every staff member I crossed paths with. Sholto even offered me the opportunity to help feed the horses when it was time, what a treat! Very kind staff across the board as. Sholto even let me bend his ear for a good ten minutes to chat about my horses back home. Richard was a fantastic conversation, too, and so knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and banter. It was really neat to see some incredibly rare breeds I’d only read about (Noriker, Ardennes, and the Suffolk Punch) and learn more about them during a presentation of the rare breeds. Each have their own unique story/history that was shared with us, too. They all have a wonderful disposition and very sweet to interact with. A nice gem to stumble upon and definitely recommended to make a visit.

What a great place to visit, the staff were all very knowledgeable from the youngest up. There are various talks through the days about the different breeds of heavy horse and what they were used for, a good selection of Romany wagons and showman's wagons and vehicles. There are hands on things for the kids to do like groom the ponies and take pony trap rides for little ones with a little pony and then the family can go on a waggon pulled by a heavy horse. There is also tractor and trailer rides, peddle cars for kids and adults. You can also see other farm animals and feed them with food you can purchase from the small shop. The cafe is don out in an American style which is great the food is good value and great quality with a good selection of cakes too. This place is a great place to visit and worth the entrance fee. I chatted to all the staff and the owner. If ever they were looking for staff this is a place I would love to work. Thanks for a great day, we loved it from the youngest aged to up to grandpa aged 60
