Had a great evening here watching Paul Weller with friends. Unfortunately we missed the warm up singer. Surprisingly good outdoor venue that holds 15000 maximum people. Food & drink available. Stella was £7.00 a pint. Queues for the toilets as always. VIP raised area was pricey considering what it offered. We declined & stayed at ground level. Curfew at 2230 but the gig overran. 5 minutes walk from the train station. All in all a really good evening.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere! Came down to see Skunk Anansie & had a great night. Food was hot tasty & reasonably priced. Love the ambiance & layout of the VIP area. My new favourite gig venue!!

Had a great time with the family (3 kids 3,5&8) good selection of rides minimal que, good food and snacks. Massive thanks to Rachel her warm welcome and top tips on wristbands set the tone. Will defo come back. Xx

We picked a sunny Saturday for Dreamland — which sounds ideal until you factor in the stiff Margate sea breeze that had us regretting the light jackets. Cold but bright, and honestly it suited the place. Dreamland has this brilliant, slightly ramshackle charm. Yes, some of the rides are showing their age, and a handful were closed on our visit — a mix of maintenance and water-based attractions that nobody was queuing for on a chilly day anyway. But there was more than enough to keep everyone busy, and the slower footfall meant you could just hop back on rides without the usual faff of queuing. At one point we went on the same thing three times in a row simply because we could. What really made the day was the staff running the rides — mostly young, clearly enjoying themselves, chatting with visitors and dancing along to the music. It's the kind of energy that lifts a whole place. You could tell they weren't counting down to the end of their shift. Pricing for entry is genuinely reasonable. Food, less so — treat that as a separate budget line. We left happy enough that we picked up a seasonal pass on the way out, which probably tells you everything you need to know about how the day went. Perfect for families, couples, and anyone who likes their fun with a side of nostalgia and sea air.

One of my favourite places in Margate! I absolutely recommend. Nice staff,fun rides and delicious food. Opens in April half-term and closes at the end of the summer holiday. £100 for a card to get a free wristband any day you come over person. Wristband-£25 go on any rides unlimited but only for the day per person. 1 token- £3 and 20 tokens -£40. You can use the tokens any day at anytime. Dreamland usually opens in the weekends or half-term never in school days. All rides are fun. Usually in the summer or when it's hot it gets really busy and takes a couple of minutes to get into a ride like the water log, whirl-around or waltzer. Free entry. Over all the best amusing thing in Margate!
