The place was absolutely beautiful. There is a long pebbly walk down and then a lot of stairs which you would obviously need to climb back after. It is well worth it though! Take a picnic and go to the toilet before going down there as it’s a long way up. Very convenient parking area - a coffee and an ice cream hut and toilets (filthy but useable). I need to warn about the parking though. You can either pay through the machine or online through Lullworth Durdle Door parking. We didn’t want to queue so decided to pay online since it was an option that was given to us. We entered our time of arrival and our car reg and it worked out our parking charge. Now it was already exorbitant as it was but we were charged £32 for a measly 3 hours. Ridiculously expensive. I wasn’t happy as what we paid did not add up to what the sign said. As a matter of fact a day’s stay can only go up to £20. So, I sent Lullworth an email and i was refunded instantly with no apology email, which gave me food for thought - but anyway, please make sure you check as this felt like daylight robbery. And hadn’t i checked and chased it, i am pretty sure i wouldn’t have been refunded willingly. For me it looked like making money on those that will accept the charge and say nothing. Other than that - beautiful place.

A breathtaking spot... Great for the whole family. You can trek, have picnic, swim in the water, or just sit back and admire this natural beauty! Can get very busy on sunny and warm days. Ample parking and toilet facilities available in the car park. The descent to the beach is fairly easy but the ascent is a bit tough. But a place you solhod not miss...

What a beautiful place to visit. Make sure you have good footwear! They have very reasonable priced food, refreshments and souvenirs. Toilets and parking. We spent a few hours here taking in the scenary. Walking on the edge is not for the faint hearted, but there are paths far from the edge for those a little worried.. Highly recommend

Visited Durdle Door — absolutely stunning views and a must-see spot. The scenery is beautiful and worth the walk. However, it would be great if there were shower/changing facilities near the beach, even if they charge a small fee. Also, much of the beach is covered with small stones rather than sand, which can be uncomfortable.

I recently went to Dorset for a holiday and it was a wonderful experience. I think that everyone must visit this place at least once. From the moment I arrived, I felt very happy and relaxed. The whole area is so beautiful and the air feels very clean. I spent a lot of my time looking at the sea and the big cliffs. It is a very peaceful place and it made me feel full of joy. The towns are very cute and the people who live there are very kind. I had some really nice food and enjoyed walking through the small streets. Everything looks like a postcard. If you like taking photos, you will love it here because every corner is pretty. It was the perfect break from my busy life and I felt very refreshed. However, I have one important tip for other people who want to go there. If you use public transport like the bus or the train, you must be ready to walk a lot. Dorset is a very big countryside area. The buses do not take you exactly to the beaches or the famous spots. Usually, the bus stops and then you have to walk for a long time to see the water or the hills. Sometimes the walk is a bit hard because there are many hills. I walked many miles every day! It is a good idea to wear your best walking shoes or sneakers. Do not wear uncomfortable shoes or you will have a lot of pain in your feet. Even though I had to walk a lot, it was still worth it because the views are amazing. I had a great time and I want to go back again very soon. It is a lovely place for a trip!
