Become a Family MemberAt the time of visiting we bought a £17 ticket for a family of 4 for 1 1/2 hours which we thought was pretty reasonable. Register your car when you pay and you get three hours of free parking. On the downside they stick rigidly to an admission timetable: we arrived at 11:40 and had to wait until 11:50 ish to access the changing room. You are given a colour-coded wristband which gives your start time. We started at 12:00. After our 90 minutes we got out and changed and went for a drink in the cafe, so that 3 hour free parking soon gets used up. Within the pool there are three pools of varying depths catering for all ages and three flumes for the adventurous ones. There are other activities too, such as a climbing wall and other activities but I cannot comment as we did not use these. The pool and changing rooms were clean with none of the usual washed-up detritus that infests most public swimming pools. Hair dryers are available, costing 10p per minute and take a range of silver coins. Lockers are the £1 returnable deposit type with the key kept on a wristwatch-type strap. The day before they even held free swims but we were not equipped for it. Would we go again if we were up that way? Yes, happily.
The pool is great, very clean with a heated splash pool which my little one loved. All the facilities were very clean. The staff are all very friendly in any area. The cafe was clean but the food was substandard. I wouldn't eat there again which is a shame as it has great potential.
Lovely views out to sea from their cafe which had reasonable prices sorry can't comment on food as only had a drink. The cafe is very clean Have added prices dated June 2026. You can catch the north beach train from the bottom of the steps.
Grandson's had a great time, water slides, water tippers/spray guns etc, baby pool and full length pool. Ample changing rooms (communal), showers and hairdryers (extra charge). Well managed through a coloured wrist band system so never too busy. Would recommend.
Our kids love the water park at this Leisure Centre. We travel around an hour as its the best setup for young kids. Café is good with a range of products. Any downside is parking. If you don't use the leisure centre offer you may pay & display. This isn't needed if swimming as you get 3 hours free if you register your number plate. You only know this once you go inside and read the board and kick yourself.
