Magnificent garden with displays based around ‘rooms’ and themes, with magical glimpses into adjacent areas and on local features (church tower, lighthouse). Huge variety across this site which was a joy to behold and wonderful inspiration. Most worthy of a visit (even the hour and a half drive we did from King’s Lynn!) and arrive early to take as much as you can. But be warned, the refreshments are mainly sweet-stuff (cakes and the like - I’m told all very nice) with very limited choice on savouries (only sausage rolls, cheese scones, crisps but no sandwiches) so make sure you have a good brunch before arriving to sustain energy levels needed to enjoy this garden to the full.

Visited on a sunny day and had a fantastic time. The gardens are incredibly mature and full of impressive specimen plants and trees. I particularly enjoyed the way the different garden rooms lead into one another, each with its own character and surprises. The plant shop was excellent and the tearoom was a welcome stop after a few hours of wandering around. The alpacas were an unexpected bonus. It's one of those gardens that stays with you after you've left. If I lived closer, I'd definitely visit more often.

Absolutely amazing garden! Best I’ve ever seen and 100% worth a visit 👍👍👍 The map that is given at the entrance is bit confusing as no signs around apart from tiny number plates but just wandering through all the labyrinths and hidden paths is an absolute pleasure 🥰🥰 in other words I’m in love 😍 I’m sure I’ll come back again soon!

Even on a cloudy day this is a beautiful place to visit. The extensive gardens delight as you move from area to area. There are plenty of places to sit and I would allow at least 3 hours to really enjoy everything. The cafe is very nice but had a very limited offering and you can't take your own food into the gardens. Other than that I would highly recommend a visit.
