An interesting range of planting from exotic, woodland to pond habitats. Maze was enjoyable and not too challenging. Nice play areas for children. Impressive number of echium pininana. Decent size cafe with outdoor seating. Great place to visit for all the family.

Lovely circular walk and hot chocolate at the cafe. Small area selling plants too.

Lovely place to visit, it isnt huge but has something for everyone. We visited early May 2026 weather was lovely and the grounds beautifully maintained. We visited the coffee shop and tbr gift shop, all team members were so friendly and the coffee was really nice and my husband enjoyed his cheese and onion sandwich and my teacake was lovely as well. I would recommend visiting and if in the area again and the weather is nice we will definately return.

Beautifully tranquil gardens with a maze, there are picnic areas but there is also what looks a lovely café with lots of outside seating with shade and sun. Plants sold too. There is also access to the ruins of an old priory next door to the gardens. Had a wonderful walk around it all. Also worth noting that it is just under a mile from Sheringham railway station, it would be an easy stroll for regular walkers.

We really enjoyed Priory Maze and Gardens. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained and some beautiful sights to see around the gardens. The term maze should be used very loosely but it’s a lovely walk. The cafe has plenty of seating outdoor and is nicely furnished. With a great selection of cakes after our walk around the common this was the ideal stop. Nice, clean and well maintained
