I recently visited Escape Room Live Birmingham as part of a group of around 20 people, (3 different rooms) and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We arrived a little early, but the host, Dan, made us feel welcome straight away, showing us where we could relax, catch up, and do the waivers. We made a request to change one of the rooms and even though this was a last minute request, he accommodated us was able to move things around without it being any trouble. We took on the Casino Heist room, which is rated level 5. As it was my first escape room, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it was really well designed, challenging, and kept us engaged throughout. The puzzles were cleverly thought out and it was really satisfying working together as a team. Special mention to our host, Rae, who was brilliant. He explained everything clearly and brought lots of energy and enthusiasm to the experience. I have to also mention that Tanya helped us with this booking and was a great help. She answered our many questions and helped us to make sure we made the best booking possible. Overall, I had a great time, it was really fun and I’ll certainly be back to try another room.

Great scary escape room! Really fun and immersive. Mark was brilliant and gave us the perfect clues without giving too much away. Thanks for a great experience. Would definitely come back!

Came here with my friend to do the Jack the Ripper room and it did NOT disappoint. Mark was our game master and offered excellent support from start to finish. From thoughtfully guiding us throughout the room to taking a picture for us in the end, he definitely elevated the experience. Thank you Mark, we’ll definitely be visiting again 😁

I went to this last weekend and it was genuinely one of the best places I’ve ever been. First up, the staff member Mark was incredible. Super helpful, very cheerful and it was obvious that he had a passion for this role and it was nice to see. Me and my friend underwent the Jack The Ripper escape room. Warning it’s an investigation escape room so make sure to constantly check over the clues and make sure your with intelligent people as it would be a long day otherwise. The props was great and the way they immerse you is truly like no other. Would recommend 10/10. Whether you’re there for the puzzles, investigation element or the scary atmosphere, you will be throughly entertained.

I have now changed this review. I received fantastic customer support after our session. My orginal rating wasnt great because I had the expectation that actors would be in the rooms with us. Whilst it is true that this is not explicitly mentioned in any advertising or wesbsite I do think people should be aware that it has now been properly explained to me that it is not a gaurenteed part of the experience and should not be expected. The room was good, well themed and we did have a good time. So, my review now reflects this instead of rating it based on expecting some sort of actor involvment in the rooms.
