I visited this escape room company with a few friends for a birthday celebration and it was amazing! The member of staff we first met was very kind and welcoming and really help to set the scene. We did the kidnapped escape room, and it was incredible, easily one of the best escape rooms i've ever done, from the scale of it, to the quality and how well thought out it all was, it was truly superb And getting with only 10 seconds to spare, we definitely got our moneys worth! I highly reccomend visiting and trying kidnapped or any of their other sure to be amazing rooms! Thanks to escape reading for the great time, we will be back!

Did the blown away escape room with 3 others and Jacob hosted us. Fantastic room, very interactive and doesn’t require niche or previous knowledge so it was very accessible! We finished the game designed for 3-5 players with 12 minutes left so Jacob got us to complete the extra bit for larger groups with extra objects which was so so good. We only needed a few clues in that second part and somehow finished in time! Jacob was a fantastic host, scared the life out of us at the beginning and sung when we completed it 😂 just made us feel very welcomed and in the scene! Really really good game, perfect for a group of 4-5. Requires lots of communication The actual place was very well organised, will definitely be going there again! Thank you!

Such a great escape room! Did the 'blown away' room a couple of years ago which was brilliant. Went back today for the 'kidnapped' room and was not disappointed! Very clever and well thought through puzzles and experience for the customer. Emma was a great host too!

We freaking LOVED it !! Dan was our host, he was the perfect mix of welcoming and (in perfect character style ) off-putting. The game was terrific. As a group of 3 teenage girls (17) it was fair to say we were slightly squeely, however, much to our delight, Dan was very encouraging. Hints were provided very helpfully, at perfect perfect last second timing to inspire us to continue. The puzzles were all completely different, at just the right level of difficulty. We had no idea what was round the corner, and it was full of surprises. We really really enjoyed our experience, and we will be coming again!! We did the Kidnapped room, there were no live actors or jump scares. It was not scary, more tense. We were in adrenaline-induced hysterics the ENTIRE time! We escaped in 54:27! For a group of first-timers, we will be coming back! #Dantheman! ⭐️

Great escape room and genuinely one of the best hosts we’ve had. Matt stayed fully in character the whole time and made the experience far better than a standard escape room. Really added to the atmosphere and got everyone involved from the start. Challenging but fun rooms, good flow to the puzzles and a quality setup overall. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Reading.
