Lovely walk around the lake this morning. Saw geese and goslings. Favourite place to walk at the minute. You can also grab a coffee on the go at the kiosk outside the café. Or a yummy ice cream at the ice cream kiosk on Granny's Bay. 😀

Went for the Fairhaven food Fayre, which was pretty disappointing. But the lake, cafe parking, children's play areas and spitfire tribute were all very good. Lake has powered boats and pedelos for hire. Good tourist information about the lake and area. Parking is excellent with plenty of spaces and looking out over the beach and sea. The spitfire monument is a real highlight with interesting information boards nicely presented. Good fenced playground area for children too. All very tidy even with the ducks and geese from the lake.

Lovely place to have a wander around! Came here with the family and had a lovely walk. Took about 50mins to walk round from the car park by the beach to the cafe (bear in mind we had two under 10yrs children and I’m on crutches!) the weather was gorgeous, we stopped for ice cream at the cafe too (it was DELICIOUS!). Easy to find parking, it doesn’t feel crowded when walking around as the place is so big. Easy access for wheelchair users, plenty of benches whilst walking for any stops needed. Looking forward to coming again!

Great place to wander round. Good paths and plenty of seating around the lake. Cafe very good and super dog friendly. Spitfire tribute is very informative and lots of other activities to try.
