I bought tickets through wowcher cost me half the price. It was a hot day 24c so most of the animals were hiding or sleeping. Wants for rider were long and the main big roller-coaster go upside down and spin so I didn't go on any. Unfortunately the water ride is closed and has been for two years. Advise bringing your own food and drinks. If your using public transport get up early. Its two trains then a bus. The bus is unreliable and spent a futher £21 on a taxi one way. Book train tickets online also as a return cost £30 each. Wowcher was another £30 then food, drinks and bus fairs to leeds £5 train station each and back from flamingo land to train station £3 each. Be prepared to brings loads of money or your own picnic if you have your own car. We spent over £180 on two people for a day out and was quite disappointed with the no show of animals. The water ride been closed and there was only the motorbike roller-coaster I could go on but it overheated and was turned off so i didn't end up going on any ride and just walked round the animal park not worth for £90 per person so wait times for rides were 90mins. Make sure you take plenty of suncream and drinks for hot days

We had a really good experience at Flamingo land. We stayed for a couple of days in the Platinum lodge which was a really good size and came with 3 bedrooms, kitchen living space with a flatscreen tv. The days we booked were perfect as the themepark was absolutely empty! It meant no waiting times and any ride we wanted. Booking a lodge was great as it came with full access to the themepark for 3 days. Big shout out to Errol...I think sorry if I got name wrong who worked in the reception and was very polite and helpful. Weather was great apart from maybe just 2hrs of rain. My only negative review would be not seeing the tigers at all but we did get to see all the rest. Would defo recommend again for families as it is of very good value

Excellent value for money. The lifestyle lodges accommodation was brilliant and well equipped. The park had rides to suit all ages and the Zoo was very worthy of a visit We definitely will do the walk on the wildside next year. We all also thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and slides. We're booking up for next year. Loved every minute.

This was my first visit to Flamingo Land, and sadly it didn't turn up to expectations. Having experienced Winter Wonderland in London, I was hoping for a comparable range of rides and attractions, but the options here felt noticeably limited by comparison. The rides appeared to be the main draw for most visitors, yet the sheer volume of people and the lack of variety meant queues were excessively long throughout the day. It felt less like a leisure park and more like a bottleneck, a sign that guests simply didn't have enough alternatives to spread across. The one genuine highlight was the zoo, which was enjoyable and added some value to the day. Without it, the visit would have felt like a complete waste of time and money. Food was another disappointment. Prices inside the park were steep, and the quality didn't justify the cost. It's hard not to wonder whether high vendor commissions have squeezed out any incentive to offer decent, reasonably priced food options. Overall, Flamingo Land charges a premium ticket price but doesn't deliver a premium experience. With limited rides, long queues, and overpriced food, it's difficult to recommend.

Went may half term. Half price tickets from wowcher. Well worth the money. 15 years since i was here so thought the park may be rundown but its actually really well maintained and very clean. Fantastic selection of animals and you can see they're well looked after. Big queues for rides as you'd expect but the wait time is displayed at the entrance. Plenty of places to get food and drinks too and not too pricey when compared with other places.
