Visiting the Freud Museum London was a wonderful experience especially the entrance door is very beautiful . It was fascinating to learn about Sigmund Freud’s life and his important contributions to psychology. The museum contains many of his books, personal belongings, and historical items, offering a unique insight into his work and legacy. ‎I also enjoyed the museum shop, which has a great selection of books and items related to Freud and his daughter, Anna Freud. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our facilitator did an excellent job explaining Freud’s life and achievements. Overall, it was an inspiring and educational visit that I would highly recommend. ‎

Visiting this museum reminds me of the time I studied Freud’s philosophy in my undergraduate. It exhibits many artifacts and books he and his daughter reserved. I would like to thank the staffs here for giving me detailed instructions and kind assistance to my shopping!

Sigmund Freud - while not fond of any religion, was of Jewish descent, and therefore, forced to leave Austria shortly after Nazi occupation, leaving his beloved Vienna for England, in 1938. He was an old man, approximately 84 years old, who had to escape war and prosecution and managed to be able to leave only because of his academic position. All his 4 sisters were captured and died in Treblinka concentration camps. Freud moved all his belongings, including his studio, from Vienna to London, in the house where now the museum is hosted and created, as last desire of his daughter Anna, who has lived here until 1982. The museum is able to communicate Freud's charisma and character and his extraordinary work - who changed the 19th century forever. He passed away in this house, only one year after he left Austria, but, apparently lived happily here until then with his daughter Anna, and his beloved dogs. The museum is easy to reach, 5' walking from the tube and contains a lot of his objects, not last his studio couch. Thanks to the museum, really recommend a visit!

Very cozy and inspiring home! It’s unbelievable to think I got to see and visit the house of such a big name. Everything inside carried a piece of history. Freud was an amazing man, deeply passionate about the human psyche, and many of his theories are still used today to understand human psychology. I’m so happy I discovered this beautiful, warm, cozy home.I loved everything about this museum!
