booked it and took 40 mins to get here. they required me to wear bowling shoes when i told them about my bone condition where i wear special shoes to help my balance and they weren’t interested so had to leave. rude people. i never have this trouble at other places

This bowling alley is hands down the best I’ve ever played at. As an experienced bowler who averages around 170, the lanes here are perfect for a high-scoring game and always feel well maintained. I usually bring my own bowling ball, but the selection available at Shipley Lanes is surprisingly good, with most balls in great condition. It’s nice to know you’ve got solid options if you don’t bring your own. I also enjoy having a pint while playing, and the drinks here are very reasonably priced, which makes the whole experience even better. The service is excellent too — there’s never a long wait to get served, and staff are always quick and helpful. Overall, a fantastic place for both serious bowlers and anyone looking for a fun night out.

Great bowling alley - I much prefer this place to the chains. Clean. Clean toilets. Ample parking. Close to all public transport routes. Reasonably priced drinks (both alcoholic and non), they also do food but never tried it. Staff are friendly and attentive and quick to sort any issues with the lane. Easy to book online or even just show up.

Easy to book, first trip was amazing with my friends and their children, very lovely. However the second visit I had my disabled sister and my brother and was enjoying our visit until someone very rudely came over and said “I’m going to have to get you guys to hurry up as we have a league coming. Nothing was mentioned when booking, Well I’m sorry but I can’t “just hurry up” my sister can’t “hurry up” she can barely walk!! So go just make sure it doesn’t go into league time!

Brilliant!! Kids absolutely loved it. Really good price we got the deal £3 a game before 1pm so definitely worth the little extra travel. Staff were great and so were the other customers when my little lad had a bit of a wobble. Thanks guys well definitely be comming back!!
