A great (Jimi Hendrix) experience. It was emotional for a big fan like me to be there. Also included is the tour in Handel's house where every other weekend they play live music. Definitely recommended.

Very well presented museum covering the lives of two very different renowned musicians who both resided in this property. The first four floors of the house are dedicated to the story of 18th century composer George Frideric Handel. These rooms are laid out as they would have appeared in the Georgian period, complete with baroque instruments of the time, creating an immersive experience that almost feels as if you were visiting Handel. The same is true of Jimi Hendrix's apartment on the top floor, where he lived for less than a year, but still found time to write and rehearse music in between entertaining guests and taking part in interviews with the media. This area of the house also includes an exhibition covering the life and performances of Jimi Hendrix, with a host of supporting photos and artefacts. Adult tickets were £14.50 at the time of visiting, not cheap but not excessive for London. I'd highly recommend following the digital audio guide, included in the price, to get the most from your visit. Guides around the house were friendly and happy to answer any questions. Onsite facilities include a small gift shop and toilets.

I love the sense of relaxation here! It’s located at the Broom Street, being surrounded by luxury shops and restaurants. Actually, you will feel surprised to find such a museum in the downtown London preparing for the music lovers. Furthermore, it not only just talks about music but also lead visitors’ deep thinking of topics like refugees and community belonging!

Very interesting place to spend a pleasant hour or so. Definitely more Handel than Hendrix, but they've recreated the two musicians living quarters very well, and captured the atmosphere between the late 1700's and 1968/9 wonderfully well. And its a nice interlude btw Oxford st/ new bond st and south molton st ..well recommended if you're a fan of either or both.

A beautiful historic place with a very elegant atmosphere. The house has a special charm and you can truly feel the history inside. The rooms are well preserved and thoughtfully presented, making the visit interesting and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Indira was especially wonderful — she shared a lot of information about the house and told us many interesting things about the place, which made the visit even more special. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.
