An absolutely brilliant day out with friends! Today was super hot, but the excellent tree cover across the grounds provided some very welcome shade and made it really comfortable to walk around. The flying demonstrations are breathtaking and the passion of the team really shines through. It's clean, well laid out, and fantastic value for a full day of entertainment. Supporting such a great conservation cause makes it even better. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely brilliant day out. This is my first visit to here and I thoroughly enjoyed my day, I love birds of prey and it was great to see these beautiful birds up close. The displays of the different birds were awesome. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking and the Hawk Trust is set in beautiful woodland. I would definitely be going back for another visit

We had a truly fantastic day at the Hawk Conservancy Trust, made even better by glorious sunshine and great company. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, well-organised, and thoughtfully maintained. The highlight for everyone was undoubtedly the bird flying displays. Each one was impressive, but the African bird show stood out as something really special. The combination of beautiful birds, gentle music, and subtle smoke effects created a calm, almost magical atmosphere. It was both relaxing and memorable, and you could tell a lot of care had gone into crafting such a unique experience. Beyond the shows, we spent time exploring the grounds, which are beautifully kept. There’s a wide variety of birds to see, and the enclosures are impressively large, giving the animals plenty of space and making it clear their welfare is a top priority. Everything looked clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully designed—not just for visitors, but for the birds themselves. The surrounding flowers and trees added to the peaceful setting, making it a pleasure to wander around. The staff really made a difference to the day. They were friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable, always happy to answer questions or share insights about the birds. Their enthusiasm was infectious and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. We rounded off the day with lunch outside together, enjoying the sunshine, followed by fresh cake and a hot drink—simple pleasures that felt just right in such a lovely setting. All in all, it was a wonderful day out that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. A perfect mix of education, relaxation, and natural beauty—we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a special day out.

Absolutely phenomenal bird shows. Was end of March and a little chilly and spitting a bit but honestly it didn't matter. The owls were flying up close and personal. I've never been this close to owls! Honestly the best show I've seen. Emotional feel with the music interludes between birds as well. Presenter was hugely knowledgeable and all staff are so enthusiastic, true delight. Good amenities and restaurant all in barn style. Just a lovely day out for the kids too. The birds are amazing.

We spent the whole day from 11am until about 8:30pm here & it was magical. The aviaries for each of the birds are really clean & spacious. The keepers/falconers are so knowledgable & really friendly, they were willing to answer any questions you had. We watched all of the day time displays of which I think there were 3 & then we had paid extra to watch the owls by moonlight which I think there was 2 shows of. The birds flew beautifully & got so close to you. I have a huge phobia of birds so I was unsure how I would manage but I am so glad I went & as you can see from my images, I got pretty close! Depending on the time of year depends on what shows they do & which birds are flown so we will be heading back so that we can see the African flight displays once they're running. I loved it here, finding a day out suitable for a 3 year old & a 13 year old to enjoy together is really hard but this was a winner all round! I totally recommend coming here!
