What a fabulous place. Spent the day here for a wedding in +30degree heat. The staff could not be more attentive. The grounds are beautifully kept and the castle itself is immaculate. The history is fascinating. If I lived closer I would definitely be coming back.

We came here for the jousting event. Cheesy acting but a fun day out. The castle is small in comparison to others. No wheelchair/pram access to the top floors which has the set up. There's a limited cafe on one floor with limited seating. The grounds are pretty and seem to be kept in good condition. It's a good afternoon out but very pricey

Stunning location for a day out. We visited during their Jousting Event, and enjoyed it from when it opened at 10am until closing time at 4pm. Everything was included in the ticket price and food was more sensibly priced than other local events. Amazing castle, the grounds are beautiful and the staff are really friendly.

A great place, the castle tour was interesting and the guy doing the tour was very knowledgeable. We visited on Easter Monday when they had a medieval event, lots of jousting, various crafts, birds of prey show and talks. All in all a fabulous day, very entertaining, will definitely do again.

I wish I could give more than five stars! We truly had the best day of our lives at Hedingham Castle. The venue really has something for everyone, from the most beautiful grounds to the incredible atmosphere. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how stunning the location is and how special the whole day felt. A huge thank you to the amazing team as well. Sarah, who helped with the planning, and Debbie on the day, were absolutely outstanding. Everyone working there was so kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. They made the entire process feel easy and stress-free, which meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding reception, it was truly unforgettable.
