I would like to say Thank you for atmosphere and very nice place for every visitors. Highly recommend this cathedral, because you can tuch to famous things from past and to look at unique books, Mappa Mundi. Necessary visit the cafe inside cathedral for fresh beverage.

Stunning Romanesque cathedral with marvellous Mappa Mundi exhibition and Chained Library with the Hereford Gospels book from 800CE. Excellent guides add to the visitor experience. The coffee shop isn't bad too!

Hereford Cathedral is beautiful and well worth a visit. It has tributes to the military, both current and disbanded local regiments. The fresh flowers were a pleasure to behold: thanks to the flower arrangers for their dedication to their art. There was a myriad of information but sadly nothing, in the immediate vicinity, of the tombs. I have no doubt it was available in booklet/pamphlet form but it would have been nice to have, at least, a name by them for further investigation. There was a very informative case with the Liturgical Colours description. I found this very interesting. The structure, the windows and the decorative ceilings, altars etc are well worth viewing. In the weather this week, the crypt was well worth a visit: for coolness but it is very small and not, in my opinion, overly interesting. Entrance is free but donations appreciated: a must in my opinion to maintain such a wonderful building. I feel all the more important as they share this wonderful building without an entrance charge; unlike other similar buildings. There is a shop, cafe and toilets but as I did not visit these, I cannot comment on them. Well worth a visit to admire the structure of the building or for quiet reflection. Recommend.

A really stunning cathedral, with welcoming staff. We signed up for the tower tour - we learnt so much history about the cathedral; having climbed a spiral spiral staircase to above the north transept - with our tour guides explaining how the stonemasons and builders built the vaulted ceilings, before heading up to the bell ringing room. we saw the clock and machinery for the bells, again, with our lovely tour guides explaining how it all worked - there's a bell from the 14th century still ringing! the final part of the tour took us up to the roof, with spectacular views all across Hereford, and our guides pointing out the different places and the history associated with different places of interest. massive thanks to Malcom (he was hilarious!) and Philip for being such wonderful and knowledgeable tour guides. An interesting tour if you have the opportunity to attend! (need to buy tickets for the tour at the desk). (visited 7th march, bought tickets on the day)

What an amazing Cathedral, it is very large. The Architecture is amazing with its carving's and designs. Its all just very beautiful to look at. I walked through in awe, everywhere you looked was so amazing. There are lots of little areas with'in the building, dedicated to different things. There is also a lovely little cafe inside. And also a nice outside seating area. I had an amazing time while I was there.
