I visited with my 2 young children who have both never climbed before apart from one trip to clip and climb. I dont have much experience myself. Before starting we had to fill out 4 health and safty forms which all had the same infomation to fill out. This seemed unnessisary and a little confusing as to which one was and wasnt needed. One of the members of staff was very unhelpful. He seemed as though he didnt really care we were struggling to know which ones we needed to do. The boldering area is more of a training area for the lead climbing imo. There isnt to many child friendly routs to climb and my kids didnt really enjoy it that much After a while we enquired about the kids doing the auto belay. I was told that i would have to pass a health and safety test for them to do it the guy made out that i wouldnt be able to pass it rather than try to help me. All in all i kind of got the feeling we wasnt really wanted there as we are largely complete novices. If you want to get into climbing dont go here. Try clip and climb or bolder brighton my pervious experience there was much better.

A great climbing centre is not just about the facility but also the staff. I can't fault them here, they are always welcoming with a smile. The centre is full of friendly people and I climb here regularly.

Fantastic climbing gym. Plenty of roped climbs, both top rope and lead. A number of auto belayed climbs. Grades to suit everyone. Staff are great with someone always on hand if you need anything. The beginners course is very informative with great instruction. Highly recommended.

Amazing climbing gym! Great staff, walls and excellent routes. Since High Sports was bought by Volume One, I have seen a marked improvement in the operation of the business... Routes are reset quicker, there has been some investment in the reception and some of the climbing equipment has been updated. I'm a very happy customer!
