A reasonable ice area for the area with an Olympic sized area and lots of seating. Staff seem friendly here and seen happy to help with anything. Pleased to see birthday parties are available here too. Only issue here is the building is definitely starting to show its age with a slightly dirty exterior which may influence whether people decide to come in or not, and you would think considering the prices, such as having to pay to reserve one of the push along skater things like the penguins and stuff you would think they are earning a good enough profit to keep the building more tidy, other than that though we had a great time.

I had a lovely time skating with my daughter however the 1 star rating is the conditions of the arena, the place needs a huge facelift, it was tired and worn (which can not be helped maybe unless the council put some money into it) but it stunk (which can be helped) and the ice was awful. It needed clearing with the machine before the public skate, it makes it really difficult to skate on, it was all churned up. They did the machine after our session but I think it’s because there was a hockey game, but honestly I think it’s disgusting when they charge £14pp more then 200 people there, enough money to use the machine before a public session.

We called in advance to book as we had to travel an hour to the venue, and we needed a skating aid for a toddler. We were told you couldn’t book, but there would be no issue as they have plenty of aids available. Got there none left, waste of time. Would not return.

Lovely place to spend time with family & friends. Great activity for a decently good price for skate hire and being on the ice ring for 2 hours. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is just great.

Loved it clean tidy. Bit tight at gates to sit and circulation apace. But staff kind supportive. Ice good smooth quality. Some rinks trust me it's rutted at the start. This is nice boots hire good condition and sharp .
